How do I pay for my monthly package?
Pay via M-Pesa Paybill using your account number as the account reference (sent to you after sign-up), or through the Bloom Networks USSD prompt. Receipts are sent by SMS.
Is there a contract?
No — home and business packages run monthly with no lock-in required. Installation is free as long as you're using your own supported router; one month is waived any time you refer a neighbour who signs up.
What happens during a power cut?
Our fiber network runs on core infrastructure with battery and generator backup at every distribution point, so the network itself stays up. Your home or office router will still need power — ask about our optional battery backup unit if outages are frequent in your area.
Do Bloom Hotspot vouchers expire?
Your time starts counting from first connection, not from purchase, so an unused 50 Bob day-pass is still valid whenever you're ready to use it, for up to 7 days after purchase.
Do you serve businesses and offices?
Yes — see our dedicated Business Packages above, with static IP available on every tier. Need something custom, like multiple branches or a guaranteed SLA? Message us on WhatsApp or email for a free site survey.
Do I need to buy a router to get free installation?
No. If you already own a supported router (Tenda F3/F6 or an equivalent dual-band unit), we'll install for free using it. If you'd rather buy one from us, it's added to your first invoice at cost — either way there's no separate installation fee.
